EBT schedules

Texas EBT deposit schedule

Texas SNAP deposits run from the 1st through the 28th based on the last two digits of the SNAP EDG number. Households approved before May 1, 2023 may still follow an older schedule.

Reviewed October 29, 2026. Card name used by the state: Lone Star Card.

Verify this date with Texas Health and Human Services. BenefitBoost is not the state agency. Schedules change, and a notice mailed to you controls if it disagrees with this page.

How to read your date

The EDG number is on the TF0001 award letter and in a Your Texas Benefits account. Use the last two digits. For example, an EDG ending in 46 falls in 46–49, which the current handbook lists as the 14th.

Use the SNAP EDG number from your award letter. Do not type a Lone Star Card number or PIN.

Before you rely on this page

  • Texas HHSC says SNAP households certified before May 1, 2023 keep their earlier schedule, unless benefits stopped for at least six months and the household applied again after that date.
  • The day printed on the TF0001 award letter is the date to follow if it does not match this table.
  • A prorated first month can be deposited together with the next month.
